工作內容	➤Assist and support the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel Manage the day-to-day running of the ship ➤Set a good example for the crew ➤Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the ship ➤Manage all aspects of routine maintenance, including stocktaking, ordering of spares and consumables, stability and ballast operations, maintenance of all lifting appliances, hull, deck, superstructure and safety equipment, and the handling and stowage of all cargo, equipment and stores ➤When delegated by the Master, manage vessel safety, including assessing safe rigging for gangways, moorings, port entries, and channels ➤Identify and manage any hazards or emergencies that may endanger the vessel’s integrity or the safety of those on board ➤Ensure the vessel complies with all relevant laws and best practices ➤ Plan and organize vessel operations ➤Ensure that all work on board is carried out in a safe and efficient manner ➤Plan and log working hours and rosters ➤Identify issues with the ship’s procedures, and recommend viable changes and improvements
